Sen. Pia, we know and appreciate how ready you and Sen. Miriam are to respond to any question raised by your colleagues regarding the RH Bill.

It’s unfortunate that some Senators, instead of engaging you to an intelligent discussion on the merits of the RH Bill, chose to raise irrelevant issues and false accusations in order to delay the legislative process.

Just the same, like you, we remain committed to the passage of the RH Bill.

If possible get a Doctor in the senate and let him explain to Sen Lapid about these congenital defects…Most of these birth defects get into the babies during the first trimester… any thing bad that happens, like getting sick during the first trimester of pregnancy,Can cause defects like Down syndrome, Blue babies etc… Although some birth defects are caused by the gene make up….

On the other hand I agree with Sen Lapid on the idea of returning most of pinoys back to the provinces… because with the majority of the population being here in manila it makes it very crowded. Along with this plan there is a need to create and develope cities in the provinces so that probinsiyana and probinsyanos would not need to go to manila just to look for jobs and settlement. In short create and build more “Makati CBD” and “Ortigas CBD” in the provicial areas, para hindi lahat siksikan sa maynila. Along with this plan family planning is very much needed so that family financials can be managed properly.
